Services available at K9 Academy

Daycare for Dogs

Send your family's best friend to play at Comox Valley's newest doggy daycare!

At our Plateau Road facility your furry friends will enjoy almost 3 acres of fully fenced outdoor space to play and exercise.

That is enough room to ensure that your pup will be tired, happy and ready to return home for cuddle time.

When the weather is not so great or your pup needs a rest, we offer a 4,000 sq ft heated and air conditioned building for indoor play and rest time.

Professional Dog Training

Comox Valley K9 Academy provides an upbeat environment full of activities for your dog.

With the assistance of our professional training we can help improve your dog's behavior and skills. Behavioral training is provided free of charge while at daycare by Leo, an experienced animal behavioral specialist.

Individual training  sessions can be scheduled with Leo for a separate fee.

This service is offered to dogs within designated geographic areas in the Valley.

Come by for a Meet and Greet

Before starting daycare with us, all dogs are requested to attend a complimentary Meet and Greet session at our facility.

The Meet and Greet session will allow us to better evaluate your dog’s social comfort level to find comfort and compatibility with their new pack members.

Once accepted as a candidate, all dogs will get training with Leo before entering their new pack to ensure the safest possible environment for all members of the pack.

Depending on your dog’s comfort level, this may require as little as a few days or in some cases several months.

The Meet and Greet takes approximately 45-60 minutes and will be held outdoors so please come prepared for all possible weather conditions.

If you require one on one time with Leo please book this separately as the Meet and Greet is a group activity.
